

Corry Oakes is a Founding Partner, the President and Chief Executive Officer of OTO Development. He serves on the Franchisee Advisory Council for Hyatt Place by Hyatt, and is the President of the Franchise Advisory Council for SpringHill Suites by Marriott. Mr. Oakes was previously the Chief Operating Officer and President of Extended Stay America, Inc, a NYSE listed lodging chain with 475 locations, representing three national brands in 42 states. Extended Stay America, Inc. was the fastest growing owner-operated hotel chain in lodging history prior to selling to Blackstone in 2004 for over $3.1 billion dollars. Mr. Oakes had responsibility for all aspects of the development and operation of the company.

Todd Turner is a Founding Partner and the Vice President of Real Estate of OTO Development. He manages a team of hotel real estate development professionals whose role is to perform market feasibility underwriting, site selection, contract negotiation, and entitlement management for new hotel development projects. Prior to the formation to OTO, Mr. Turner was the Vice President of Real Estate for Extended Stay America, Inc, a NYSE listed lodging chain. He joined ESA in 1994 as one of its first employees and before becoming an officer, held the titles of National Director of Real Estate, Director of Revenue Management, and Regional Director of Real Estate.

Bruce Collins has been Director of Development for OTO Development since the inception of the company. He is involved in all aspects of hotel development in the Eastern Region, which includes managing a team of Development Managers, completing initial site evaluations, due diligence, budgeting and analysis, design review, and all project management service. Mr. Collins was previously the Director of Construction for Extended Stay America, managing the company’s South East region.

Mike Gallen, Director of Development, has been with OTO Development since the company’s inception in 2004. He is involved in all aspects of hotel development in the Western Region, which includes managing a team of Development Managers, completing initial site evaluations, due diligence, budgeting and analysis, design review, and all project management service. Mr. Gallen was previously the Director of Construction for Extended Stay America, managing the company’s West Coast Office where he oversaw the development of 75 hotels in 11 states, and helped the company gain the distinction as “the fastest growing hotel company” in history.
Taylor Callaham joined OTO Development as a Real Estate Manager in 2006. Since that time he has been responsible for site identification, market due diligence, contract negotiation, and entitlement for new hotel development projects. Mr. Callaham focuses primarily on east coast acquisitions, specifically the Manhattan and Washington, DC area markets. Prior to May 2012, Mr. Callaham served as a Real Estate Manager in Los Angeles, responsible for acquisitions and development in Southern California and various west coast markets.

John Coleman joined OTO Development as a Real Estate Manager in 2004 and was responsible for site identification, market due-diligence, contract negotiation and entitlement for hotel development in Washington DC and the Northeast. Mr. Coleman became National Sales Director in 2009 where he targets accounts that have potential to be significant revenue generators for the hotel portfolio. He has also assumed additional marketing responsibilities whereby he is responsible for all ecommerce activities within the company, including search engine optimization, website maintenance, and updates for all hotel websites within the portfolio. Mr. Coleman was previously with Extended Stay America as National Sales Manager.

John Anderson joined OTO Development as Chief Operating Officer in 2009. He manages a team of skilled operations, sales and revenue professionals who oversee 33 select service and extended stay properties located in key markets across the U.S. Mr. Anderson previously held various positions with Hilton Worldwide, most recently as Senior Vice President Operations and was responsible for 95 hotels nationwide across six brands. Mr. Anderson is a certified hotel administrator and has served on the boards of hotel and tourism associations in several communities. He is currently a member of the Hampton Inn Brand Operations Council.

Lisa Giaimo is Vice President Sales and Marketing. Lisa joined OTO in December 2012, bringing over 20 years of hospitality industry experience, with a career spanning a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, including general manager, regional manager, franchise service director, director of field sales and marketing, and senior director, franchise services and vice president, sales and marketing. Immediately prior to joining OTO Development, Lisa served as vice president of sales and marketing for Torgerson Properties in Minnesota.

Rick McDowell joined OTO Development as Regional Director of Operations in 2006. He manages all Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, and Starwood family hotel properties in the Southeast United States. Mr. McDowell was previously the Vice President of CRM as well as Regional Vice President of La Quinta. He started his career with Promus hotels where he worked with both full and select service hotels for 14 years.

Robert Oursler is the Regional Director of Operations for the Mid Atlantic Territory of OTO Development. He manages all Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, and Starwood family hotel properties in the Mid Atlantic United States. Mr. Oursler was previously the Corporate Director of Human Resources for a local hotel management group and has extensive experience with Hilton Hotels in the Embassy Suites, Doubletree Guest Suites and Doubletree brands as well as Regent International and Registry Hotels.

David Ward is the Regional Director of Operations for the West Territory of OTO Development. He manages all Hyatt, Marriott, and Hilton family hotel properties in the Western and Northeastern United States. Mr. Ward was previously the Regional Director, Vice President, and Executive Vice President of Operations for Extended Stay America, Inc, a NYSE listed lodging chain. He joined ESA in 1996, managing 200 locations nationwide prior to it sale to the Blackstone Group in 2004.

Kelly Haager is the Regional Director of Sales for the Southeast Territory of OTO Development. She manages a team of sales professionals that is responsible for revenue generation at each asset. Mrs. Haager has been with OTO Development since 2006 and has been involved with 17 of OTO’s hotel openings; primarily focusing on sales efforts, working closely with the development and real estate teams to ensure quick ramp ups for all properties. Mrs. Haager was previously an Operations Manager for Carlson Restaurants. She has an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Maurene Haggerty-Yotter joined OTO Development as the Regional Director of Sales for the Western Region in September 2009. She manages a team of sales professionals that is responsible for revenue generation at each asset. Ms. Haggerty-Yotter previously held various positions including Regional Director and Director of Sales & Marketing for Pacifica Host Hotels during which Courtyard by Marriott awarded her and her team the 2008 Highest RevPAR of the Year. She has held several board positions including the Diversity Counsel for American Airlines and SDBTA. Ms. Haggerty-Yotter’s 18 years of travel and hospitality experience spans over many brands including American Airlines, Marriott, Wyndham, Hilton, and Luxe Hotels

Kevin DeMark joined OTO Development as Manager of Architecture in 2006 and was responsible for the team of architects who developed OTO's 45 hotels. In 2010, Mr. DeMark became OTO’s National Director of Facilities where he oversees the mantainance of all properties, implements training programs for our engineering teams and establishes national accounts. Mr. DeMark serves as liaison with the operations teams to ensure that our facilities are in top shape and readily available for our guests. Previously, Mr. DeMark held positions with Extended Stay America, Advance America and most recently at Extended Stay Hotels as National Maintenance Manager responsible for the company’s 475 hotels throughout the U.S.

Charles King joined OTO Development, LLC as Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer in August 2007. He is responsible for overseeing accounting procedures and controls, financing, cash management and financial and tax reporting. Prior to joining OTO Development, LLC, Mr. King held various positions with Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. including Vice President-Controller where he was responsible for preparation of all quarterly and annual financial statements, and later Vice President-Retail Licensee Program. In his capacity with Bassett, Mr. King was instrumental in building a chain of 130 retail stores throughout the country.

Mary Dixon joined OTO Development as Vice President Human Resources in 2006. She has more than twenty years experience in HR leadership roles with companies such as Monsanto and Sealed Air Corporation. In her role with OTO, Mrs. Dixon draws from this rich experience to develop and implement leading-edge selection, evaluation, and development programs that support team member engagement across the company. OTO team members deliver superior financial results and great guest service, with employee turnover rates substantially below industry averages.

George Rutledge joined OTO Development as Vice President of Purchasing & Information Systems in 2007. He is responsible for overseeing the procurement of all owner supplied goods and the implementation of technology to support both the development and hotel management operations. Mr. Rutledge was previously the Director and Vice President of Information Systems of Extended Stay America, Inc, a NYSE listed lodging chain. He joined ESA in 1996 and worked with the company until its sale to Blackstone in 2004. Earlier in his career Mr. Rutledge held positions in supply chain and technology consulting with Andersen Consulting and Deloitte.

Jason Boehm has been Corporate Controller of OTO Development since 2008 and is responsible for the accounting, tax, payroll, auditing, treasury, and risk management functions for the Company. Prior to joining OTO, Mr. Boehm was Corporate Controller for Tire Centers, a Michelin distribution and retail subsidiary with over 150 locations in 40 states. Previously, he served as Audit Manager with Hazlett, Lewis & Bieter, PLLC, a regional accounting firm in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Boehm received his B.S. in Accounting from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Sue Dancy has been Assistant Controller of OTO Development since April 2006 and co-manages the accounting, tax, payroll, auditing and treasury functions for the company. Prior to OTO, Mrs. Dancy was the Corporate Accounting Manager at Lockwood Greene Engineers, a global engineering and construction company based in Spartanburg, for eight years. In addition, Mrs. Dancy worked for Brigman, Holcomb, & Weeks CPA’s as a certified public accountant providing audit, tax, and consulting services to companies in various industries.

Janice Riddle joined OTO Development as Director, Human Resources in September, 2011. She has more than thirty years experience in the Human Resources Department, with a concentration in Employee Benefits. Prior to joining the Company, Mrs. Riddle was employed ten years as Director of Benefits with Extended Stay Hotels. She also was employed as Benefits Manager at Spartan International, a Spartanburg based textile manufacturing firm for many years. Her concentration has been in Benefits and Compensation.
